Connie and I tried to get a good picture of this new quilt but you can see we had too many “helpers”. This is one charm pack, yardage of green and gray and binding. Charms are cut into 4-2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ squares so there is no waste and all very easy. I used aged muslin for the gray and green – not a fancy quilt but a great utility quilt.
Tonight I got brave and took all 5 dogs for a ride in my van to town. Moses called for the front seat and wasn’t about to give it up! They have adapted to my life here on the farm and seem quite happy but they will be thrilled to see their family who loves them.
What great helpers you have! Love the quilt and seeing your visitors!
When I try to get pictures of my quilt the cat is suddenly walking across it. Love all the help you got while taking pictures! And brave to take them all to town.
If the dogs approve….then it must be wonderful!!!! LOL
Yeah! All of the pictures were straight!
They say it’s always better when you have help. I think the pictures prove that.
I love hearing about your life and dogs, cats everything! I had friends who had a chihuahua and a St. Bernard. They took two cars to the resort (indoor plumbing, fabric for doors, basically wood, screens and 3 burners, heaven on earth) we met them there every year. One car was the St.s dog house. Their chihuahua was the boss and if she didn’t want him in the living room he laid down in the doorway. They would pay be to “babysit” the dogs while they were fishing. The St. and I got along great but when he wanted to run, I had to hang on tight. He weighed 75lbs more than I did. They also used to take them for rides in the evening because the dogs wanted to!
You are so blessed to have family , friends, pets in your life
Enjoy 🙂
