Are any words needed here? I don’t think so. Michele is home from Europe and Bentley is over the moon when she arrives at the farm. He recognized the car and started jumping and crying and nearly turned somersaults! Oh my, but he was a happy dog. I loved having him here and he was well cared for but I’m not his mom and I know how happy he is tonite at home.
More work today – I can hardly wait to sew something! There will be time for that next week.
Hope the weather cooperates for your sale this weekend and I am just sorry and jealous that I don’t live closer and can come. It is a going to be a great sale just not justifiable to drive over 1000 for it.
It is so beautiful to see the pure joy a dog has for their mom, or dad. What a great story your pictures tell.
Mary:
These pictures warmed my heart. Seeing this LOVE in pictures was a wonderful way to end the day. Thanks so much for taking the time to share, and goodnight!
Hugs, Cheryl from Sunny Southern California
There is nothing better than the love of a dog!! Bentley will be sleeping on a smile on his face all night long!!!
You’re not home from vacation until the babies are picked up. I love the second photo–Bentley’s face is pure joy and happiness from Mom coming back to pick him up. Sometimes you see kids wanting to stay and not go home, but you never see dogs do that, do you?
Oh, that is so sweet!

So sweet. Definitely one happy boy!
Brings to mind “a picture’s worth a thousand words”! Love it!
Awww. Such love:) GOOD LUCK with the sale!! Have fun, too.
It is just amazing that bond of love between a pet and his/her owner can be!!!!!
Puppy love! Lovely photos! Good luck this weekend!
That is so sweet it made me cry!
Mary, One picture is worth a thousand words for sure!! Our two little granddogs are so excited to come here and whine and jump at the front door before we answer. Then they jump on our laps and give so much affection and head for the treat corner.
Hope the weather holds for the BIG sale….
Sorry to miss out on all the good “loot” you’ve been showing.
Thank you Mary for loving Bentley while we were gone…………….and for taking such great action shots of our reunion!!!! I think my favorite photo is the last one when Bentley finally settled down enough to just lay his head on my chest for a nano second. It’s amazing the tongue didn’t come out to give me more slurps!!! FYI….for all your readers, Bentley did not want to leave my side for 3 days. I think he’s fearful I’ll disappear again on him. Sweet boy!!!
