Do you really think I’m responsible for 50 emails from 2+ years ago????? Thank you for understanding.

This is so funny! I never looked at the date and thought it was s new sew along for the new book. I’m not very observant am I. Good news is I’ve closed a lot of ads today.

Well, when the first one came I dug out my copy of Sew Charming and started pulling fabric from my stash.
I’m ready for that sew-along that was two years ago!
I hope things get straightened out without too much stress for you, Mary. Have a beer and hug some critters!!

Me too! It’s been a happy accident and I’m making the quilt!
Mary — it was wild. Never did I think it was something you did. It was definitely a technology glitch. I love tech and for every glitch, I think of the wonders of the internet. People dwell on the negative social media, but I dwell on the positive like your blog. Bless you.

I never looked at the date either and thought -a new sew a long. HAHA! Then I saw that the post was repeated and repeated….I knew something was wrong (still didn’t look at the date) I could see you halfway across the country pulling your hair out-perhaps saying unkind things about computers. Hope there was enough beer and Hazel snuggles to sort it all out. But I do think I will have to make a quilt like that one-think i have that book somewhere.

I loved the picture of Ruthie on the quilt so didn’t mind getting it 50 times.

Even though I’ve previously made this quilt two or three times, I still might start another one! What’s old is new again!

Oh my!! I didn’t look at the date either and just wondered how I might have missed the initial conversation and planning about the quilt along—and how could I scramble to catch up because goodness knows, that’s one I better make! It was obvious to me there was a tech issue so I just happily closed ads and deleted the extra emails, hoping against hope it wouldn’t cause you to give up blogging because of the hassle!! I, too, hope there was enough beer and puppy snuggles to get you through! Know you are loved and supported and we are looking forward to your next post, whenever you have the energy!!

I totally understand, Mary. I read it and thought Chicklet had already grown up! I also remembered the quilt because I was going to do it but didn’t get around to it. I’ve closed a bunch of ads, too. Have a good day.

I knew there was something wrong when it showed Chiclet as a little chicken. I got the same thing three times. Don’t worry, Mary, those things happen. I am being very polite with the last sentence. Did Reed’s quilt win a blue ribbon? Hugs, Mary.

Oh my Mary, I knew something was crazy in the tech world, I got the same email four or five times in a row on four or five days, I figured maybe I had been hacked, hang in there, so enjoy reading about you, the animals and your extended family, both two legged and four!

My husband is a retired IT person and still insists machines will set you free. When I was young and newly married, I stayed home alone many weekends, while he was deciding where his program went wrong. When we moved away from “home” 22 years ago, I had to learn how to use the internet, so I could keep up with the home town news.
It can be very frustrating, but we all love your blog. Thanks, Mary.

Well, at least I know I’m not totally crazy! I didn’t look at the date either, just thought it was a sew along I didn’t know about.Of course, I kept one of the 75+ “copies” deciding what fabrics (scraps) to choose. Thank goodness, one less project. However, I am looking forward to the rug-a-long. I’m ready!
Good luck, Mary, in getting this all straightened out. Technology…what would we do without it? Probably, a lot more time to stitch!

I am so sorry…I have looked back and don’t see a date except July 24, 2019. I have not received a post since. I sent an email thinking you didn’t know about it. I hope to get future posts.
Thank you!

I did not check the date and thought I for my first time would join in. When I got so many post I knew something wasn’t right. Sorry if it was such a hassle. I think you have pretty understanding gals following you.
