It’s so foggy I can’t see the highway this morning but I have a picture of the barn I think you’ll like.

That is very foggy! The barn looks pretty in it though. Be careful if you are driving to church.

The picture of the barn and setting is lovely! Know the weather isn’t joyful, but it is wonderful to find little things to enjoy! Take good care and thanks for sharing!

Nature gives us a beautiful picture to enjoy. Thanks for the scene and be careful going out. It can be icy.

Now that is a picture worth framing! Simply beautiful. None of that here in Florida.

I love a foggy morning if I have no where to go. We had warm temps and all the blizzard snow from Christmas on the ground, the heat and the cold combined to make that low lying misty fog. Deer weather. We had two bucks, a doe and a fawn, now minus its spots but oh so little and cute, all in our yard looking for nibbles. Luckily we have an apple orchard in the back and they do some trimming after the last apple is found. So our landscape doesn’t get to much damage from deer. This year, what 80 inches of snow didn’t ruin in the first storm, 79 mph finished off in the blizzard. The town came through and had a machine digest everyone’s storm ruins and dump it into an accompanying dump truck. Lots of mulch right there!
It’s Sunday… Go Bills!
Debby Krzyston
Your frosty tree branches frame your barn beautifully.
Turn your car lights on when you’re out and about today. Plus remember to turn them off when you get to your destination.
Enjoy your day,
Debby, Wisconsin

Yes I like this barn picture….. reminds me of my grandparents barn. Their barn was gray…. the middle floor held the carriages, the bottom floor the horses and the top floor the hay!!!

What a beautiful picture of your barn. We had a bit of sun yesterday. Felt so good to see it coming through my windows! I’ve been in my basement in my longarm room quilting. I have too many tops in queue! Winter is the perfect time to catch up!

What a great photo – we’ve had some really beautiful frosty mornings, well several days actually. Oddly, with us about an hour and half away from you, this morning with you in the fog – we are in bright sunshine and blue skies with all the trees in their frosty glory in SE MN.

I know this kind of weather is not fun but it sure makes pretty pictures.

Beautiful picture, but like everyone else says, be careful. When I can stay home, I don’t mind it. Enjoy your day!

Beautiful picture Mary. We had fog a few days ago, as Carol at Pin Oak mentioned, it’s deer weather. We’ve had herds of them in the field recently. At least 8 at a time. And there’s a really handsome buck that stays separate from them. My neighbor gets pictures of him on her field cameras. He has many points! We really hope he survives the hunting season. I know they’re overpopulated in MA but we really love seeing them. Feeling much better today but still testing positive. Have been looking for a new project so I must be feeling better! Jan in MA

Beautiful picture! It’s pretty as long as you don’t have to be out in it or drive!
We have been experiencing fairly high winds for the past week or so along the base of the Blue Mountains in NE Oregon. At least it’s finely above freezing temperatures.
Take care.

I’m in Kalispell ,MT visiting my daughter n her family until the 16. It was very foggy yesterday but today we can see the mountains to the east. When I landed Fri morning it was 25 degrees. Quite a difference to my home in Mesa ,AZ where it had been 70 on thus. Yes I’m surviving. Going to make a couple of scripture bags with granddaughters. Also a baptism dress. I also to hold my third great granddaughter for the first time.
Diane, Squeak, and Buddy in Central Ohio
I think there is a quilt shop there, Nancy? We were at Glacier and Watertown Lakes one year. Beautiful place.
Mary, I love how your barn shines through.
Only 38* here today.
Stay warm😺

Yes, Glacier Quilt shop. I’ve been there several times. It’s a great store.

That picture is beautiful. I hope you don’t have to drive in it for church. The town folks can play music.
We’re sunny, with forecasted ripping winds later. 65-70 mph!!

Jo – no, not wind! What you have, we’ll get – in a couple days.

Oh yes! Lovely picture! We call freezing fog “frog”. Nancy Norris, how precious that you get to hold your great grandchild! We’re expecting our first in March, but she is clear back in Illinois. Hopefully I’ll make it back there next spring. I hate it when I have to leave though!

Yes, love the barn photo. This winter is certainly showing us every opportunity to do photography.
Kim from TN
Great picture of your barn and yard, crisp and cold looking. Be careful out there. It’s frizzling here and warm, we hope to get a short walk in today if the rain lets up. Should hit 50 but no sunshine.
Kathy in western NY
The snow on the branches is so pretty. Good day to be looking at that nice barn from inside your house. What a difference in a week…last Sunday, the first day of 2023 I walked to church in 50 degree weather, rain came after I got home. It’s our little Presbyterian country church and not in our town like others are but a nice walk for me. This morning drove over. It’s 31 and no snow still. Cause the Bills are playing, it’s a snacking afternoon – almond covered cheese ball, cocktail weenies in crock pot and sliced salami and cheddar cheese with crackers on a plate.
Diane in Maryland
I could live on snack foods…lol. All of this sounds good! Enjoy your game. We are watching the Ravens struggling against Cincinnati. Win some.. lose some…oh well.
Kathy in western NY
I could too Diane! After all the munchies my husband said no dinner needed and he reheated some soup I had made earlier in the week. Such a relaxing day!
