Pet Parade! 2 -27-23

Here we go – I have really loved receiving the photos of your pets along with the stories and comments which I wish I could also publish but it would be overwhelming! Pet Parade will be posted for several days so I don’t overload the blog and watch it crash.

On the subject of Rugs From Rags, nothing will be done until I view her DVD. Don’t you wonder if she reads the blog? I will show you the original frame that is just a wreck but you will see what Rick had to engineer from.

Last week
This morning – raining!

March 1 is this week and we will pick up our Dirty Dozen and Color Challenge – get ready!

Pet Parade

In order to avoid the blog crashing I will be posting 10 pictures per post throughout the day. Don’t forget to check back to find your pet!

Awww, thank you , Mary. My husband hollered, “Hey, there’s Squeak in Mary’s blog!” She’s a star just like the others who were in the Goat Gazette. Love it! Rainy here, but no snow or ice. In case anyone wonders, Squeak is the “helper” with the rug frame.

Diane – thanks for identifying her – you’re all going to have to learn how to add text to your photos!

I’m so glad you claimed your picture of Squeak, Diane! I always wondered what Squeak was, and what he/she looked like, now I know! Jan in MA

Hi Jan, Squeak is a neutered female I found in the Big Lots parking lot. She was 4 weeks old and 20 ounces—tiny. She is only 8 lbs., but feisty😺. Now 11 1/2 years old.

LOVE the pet pics!!! My goodness we have some really cute and precious pets! ❤️💝

  3. Jo in Wyoming

    They are great.
I noticed the short dog on the rug…the German Shepard on the couch!
I enjoy seeing all the quilty supplies the pets need to help with.

  4. Rita in Iowa

If the pets could talk I wonder what they would be saying. Thanks everyone for sending Mary the pictures, and Mary for posting them. Can’t wait to see what is next.

Slam Dunk! Love the pics of everyone’s pets. But Mary, you do realize we all read this blog for you! Thanks for a bright spot in a sometimes gloomy day! Plus your poor babies and muddy muddy muddy! Last night’s rain was a WOW! My rain gauge is broken, but from what I found in dishes and buckets, I think I got about an inch. Snow is going away, even the piles.

Hi Mary, lovely to see all the pets! Keeper looks German shepherd to me. I liked the German shepherd guarding his mum’s knitting bag, it’s fun to look at all the sewing bits and pieces in the photos.Hope all those in CA are coping with the snow! Take care everyone, best wishes from Sandy

Thank you for posting these cuties!!! Love the animal shots.

I am soooo sorry you are having all of these problems with your patterns. I would be so D mad I would just blow my head up! But THANK YOU so much for continuing your blog in whatever way you feel is right for you. I don’t comment very often but I absolutely love reading/seeing your blog and the comments. I hope you continue to post in whatever way you are comfortable with. Pretty soon you can show us the spring starting in northern Iowa!!!!!

I love them all! The one little doggy even dressed up in ribbons for her picture. And the one black dog was hoarding the toys.
My kitty Magnus is the first picture. The one on the bench by the bear holding the sign. I haven’t gotten a good picture of Klaus yet. Black cats are hard to get good pictures of.
It’s dusty here today. The wind blows it our way. It makes it hazy. Spring weather here. We never know what it’s going to be day to day.

Mary I think pet parade is the BEST idea…ever! I had so much fun looking at all those precious people. THANK YOU for doing this.

  10. Angie from Baltimore

Love the pet pictures.I showed her the picture of her but she wasn’t interested so not shocked. Thank you for taking care of this so we can see all of folks pets.

I don’t comment often but I read and enjoy the pictures you put on here. You are loved and I am so happy to see all your quilts. I do some quilts, but nothing fancy. I love doing some crafts, but with my eye problems I have a harder time doing these things. My hubby threads my needle for me and does all the cutting of the blocks. I am enjoying the pet parade. We no longer have a dog, but our kids have dogs we get to enjoy. Keep up the good works you do. You are so talented in so many ways. From Mary in Iowa

  12. Marsha from Kansas

I loved the pet parade! So many adorable babies, in quiet moments. Of course we all know they aren’t always quiet! Thank you for the parade.

  14. Sandy in Indiana

I Love the pet parade pictures…I also enjoy the reader comments putting a name with their pet photo…(note: I understand that you couldn’t add info because the blog might crash)

    Mary,

Love love love this!! So darn cute. I can just imagine what Squeak is thinking over that frame and i want to reach and touch those paws of the second kitty.
The pets expressions just crack me up looking at some of them. Is that Gloria’s little rescue with the bows in? Thank you Mary for such happy times we all share here.
