I’ve received lengthy emails from the online publication regarding Bullseye. I’ve been asked to literally jump as high as the moon which I’m unwilling to do but I am happy to clarify some facts.
“Neither the quilter nor the editor claimed the Bullseye design as their own which means they didn’t steal it.” Her words, not mine.
A reader informed me of the publication otherwise I would never have known.
My readers have come to my defense – I haven’t mentioned it again.
I’ve been told that there’s a vintage Bullseye quilt shown in the Arkansas Quiltfolk issue coming up.
I am not guilty of copyright infringement by posting her 20 year old business logo on the blog.
I’m sick of this. I’m tired, I’m busy, I’ve worked at this business since 1980. I have a very clear conscience.
Quilts from Aunt Amy is long out of print but can sometimes be found on a used book site, garage sale or EBay. The Bullseye pattern is available for $5.00 and a SASE.

If you’d like to comment to me about Bullseye, email me so it’s private.
I remember a prominent quilt designer visited our booth at Quilt Market when we lined our double booth with Bullseye quilts and she remarked – “I love when the old designers come up with something new!”
I’m still going to post all your pictures in a series of blog posts – you’re just going to love seeing all of them!
No more Bullseye discussion on the blog – I can’t stand the repercussions and accusations from the editor and please don’t email her or the designer.
Nobody ever said life is fair.
