A nippy 42o up here this morning Mary,
Sun is just coming over our mountain, but I haven’t unpacked my Bernina just yet. The Trail Creek Fire is still active and could burn til first snow. The Forest fire workers are doing helicopter 🚁 water dumps and ground crews are also working hard to keep it contained. Still have red flag warnings in CA, Nevada and Idaho.

Launa, what is your altitude? Snow can’t be far away? We are all thinking about you.

Launa – I so hope you can relax soon and not worry about the fires! It must be exhausting for everybody. We will soon see 42 as well.

When Yellowstone burned, back in 1988, the fall snow put it out. It burned from June till December! Sad, but it there is so much more we can see from the road.

Everyone LOVES the quilt shows Mary posts from your dd’s. Thanks to all for finishing and sending in pictures. Thanks to Mary for all she does for us.
