Mary, what a great post today and all the comments. I went right to Amazon and bought “The Chat Pack”. We will use it at our quilting retreat next week. Should be great fun.
I was able to click many ads today. Love your RW&B quilt. Fun to see your chickens on action.
Keep on entertaining us with nothing. We love it!!

Deb – Jamie in AZ tells me your mom is going to be 93 or 94 on her next birthday – you mentioned it in your card to her. Is it soon? Should we do cards?

Yes, I did get the video. What fun. My golden, Holly, loves to play ball. There are some times, when she carries a ball in her mouth around the house for most of the day. She would love a toy like that one.

Dianne – called iFetch on Amazon or Chewy – hours of fun ahead for Holly!!!

Nelson was about to fall asleep when he heard Hazel, jumped up and looked all over for her! But now I know how those toys work, I guess I will have to get one. Sammie and Nelson will most likely fight over the ball so it maybe difficult to teach them how to return it but looks like fun!!

    Mary,
Video came through fine. Shes really entertaining! That hazel is so quick I had to watch it twice to see the ball.
Biscuit and I walked this morning and got to see the kids at the bus stop. He enjoyed that!
I am seeing robins in my backyard today. I don’t know if they never went anywhere for the winter or if they are telling me that spring is coming? I really haven’t seen any robins since fall.
Have s great day everyone! 🌻

The video worked for me. She’s a mess, a cute mess. Keeper is wondering why you want that thing, when I have this great toy!
    They keep us entertained

  6. Alice in SW OH

It played for me! Hazel is one determined dog! Bet she sleeps well after playing with that ball launcher!

  7. Janice

Mary, It worked for me. I watched it on the blog. What a great toy for Hazel. The weather folks keep adjusting our temps and snow totals as we get closer to the next cold spell. It will be very cold, Sunday night through Wednesday morning. I’m so glad I don’t have to be anywhere on these days. Janice Traverse City area

Yes, I got the video to play. Oh my goodness….. Hazel is too cute — love her barking at it to work! My pup was like who is that barking mom???? Had to watch several times as it was wonderful. Mary, thank you for sharing with us.

Oh, Hazel, where is the Princess who is too cool to rassle with the boys? (I bet you’d win!) Keeper, you’d better keep hold of your toy or it could go down the iFetch!

Yes on the video. It looks like Hazel is grabbing the ball out of the chute, not chasing it. What fun is that?
    She’s so smart.

  11. Janet

The video worked for me. Just took a while to load since I have very slow internet service. Hazel certainly is a lively one. Thanks for all your work on this blog.

  12. Cindy from Minnesota

Mary! Hilarious Hazel, serious too telling the machine to get with it, get the ball out! It took me a moment to realize the ball does not get away from her very often. I enjoyed the video, Hazel is an intense soul! What a beautiful day it was way out in SW Minnesota today!

  13. Nancy Foland

That would keep me fascinated too, watching her play with it. She’s so fast, you never see the ball

  14. Sandy B

Video worked great. I didn’t even have to go to the blog..just tapped the comment and it started..I always have to go to,the blog to see comments from the regular post

  15. Beth T.

It worked–it played for me in my email, even before I clicked through to your blog. Funny little Hazel.

  16. Kathy in Illinois

Have to love Hazel’s spirit! She puts her all into the game. I want her energy for a day. Mary, that video put a big smile on my face when I was waiting for my appointment with the dentist.

  17. Judy Linn

    YES!

Oh, my word – I can see why it would have to be Unplugged after a bit! LOL!

Works great, was waiting for the slobber ball to shoot out! That Hazel was telling that gizmo what to do but she got no satisfaction… other than the bark!

    1. Janice

Carol, are you the person who lives in the Buffalo area . . . who a few years back, told us about a very bad snow storm that hit in your area around Christmas? If so, has this winter been pretty brutal for your area? Janice Traverse City area

The video came through. That is such a cute toy. Hazel sticks pretty close to the launcher so it doesn’t give the ball much room to go. She looks like she’s afraid Keeper will get it. I wonder if she thinks her barking causes the ball to come out. Love her. I wish we had one of those when we had our Border Collie. Another high energy dog.

  20. Suzanne Shepherd

How curious! I see nearly everyone got the video. All I have is a black screen – audio is good (Hazel barking), but no picure. I will look into it and see what I can figure out.

  21. Debby Krzyston

Looks like Hazel is giving that new ball “a piece of her mind!”
    Your video worked.🐶

  22. Joy in NW Iowa

Hahaha! Hazel is funny! I’ve watched it several times. It doesn’t take much to entertain me! 😂😂😂😂 Wonder why she chews that ball before she puts it back in the machine. She is very clever! I was featuring that ball flying around in your house, but she doesn’t let it get very far!
Dee I so sorry you with out power! You should get a generator big enough to run the fridge and your electric on your furnace! At least you would be warm!
The sun is shining and it’s 37-38*. Jay went for a ride with the chevell.
Enjoy the break from the cold for a couple days!

  23. Jane dumler

Hazel has that one figured out. Stay right there and let the fetchit toss it in your mouth —so funny. She is always up to something.

  24. Jo in Wyoming

The video played AND the comments section was at the end. Like in the olden days!
So, after Hazel gets the ball, what does she do?

  25. Vickie Harris

That really keeps her busy. Guess she sleeps really well after playing with that. And you really don’t have to do much running for the ball.

  26. Kathy in western NY

It worked just fine for me and my old iPad.
I can also see Keeper picking up his toy to keep up with Hazel. That cracked me up.

  27. Dee

Yes, it came through! Her barking at the toy is so cute! She wants the ball!!! I was glad it came through because earlier videos of the piano music would only come about halfway. I would replay to hear the beginning a lot, ha. I wanted to hear you play it all. What I did get was beautiful!

We had all that ice you did not want, Mary. Went with no power for days and was tired of camping it! Boy, no heat is hard. We have gas heat but electrically running furnace. Anyway, it is a memory now, and lots of trees down, mess, still have icy walks, etc. My crepe Myrtle looks like a giant sat down on it! I hope it will make it. Enough talk of ICE! I love your posts.

I read them every night when they come. Thanks for putting the time in to show us all your neat quilting and cute pets! Oh yes, I am Dee in Southeastern Illinois, about 35 minutes from the Ohio River.

Days, huh? My, that is harsh. Our power was out one day a couple of years ago. My first need was heating water for a hot cup of tea. DH ordered a clever Coleman camp two burner thing that runs on propane. I have warm gloves, wool scarf, socks, and a couple of bags stuffed with barley that can be warmed for a small bit of comfort.

  28. Teresa from Port Coquitlam, BC

Yes, I too could see the video. She sure likes that toy that’s for sure. Have a great day Mary.

    1. Rita in Iowa

Mary got the video and it played perfectly. Had to watch close that the ball actually left the launcher.

  29. RuthW in MD

Played for me! I couldn’t see the ball except when Hazel dropped it in, but I could certainly see that she was chasing something!

  30. Ursula

This is so cute. Hazel is one determined dog. But it doesn’t seem to be working properly.
Hope she gets it going soon.

    1. Ursua

Oops. I made a mistake. It is working, the ball comes out of the little hole.
I’ll bet that keeps her busy for hours.
