I am soooo much better after an afternoon spent in my chair! chiropractor again tomorrow.
I have misplaced my phone since I got home. No, I can’t call it from Rick’s phone because it’s on silent for church. haha!
How’s that for the blog about nothing?

Hope you found your phone by now, it is frustrating when we misplace items. I’ve been busy getting some house cleaning done, light fixtures, top of cabinets etc….. I hope to do some quilting my mid week. Made sloppy joes today so we will meals for a few days to come.
Kim – oh my! That’s the kind of cleaning I need to do!! Posting mow
Short and sweet! LOLOLOL I hope you find your phone.
Nice news you’re doing better!, Mary! Getting older is better than the alternative! LOL Hope you find your phone!!
Our pond is starting to thaw in the center and I can see the ground in places in the steep driveway! Am hoping for more snow by the weekend!
Launa
Before my husband passed away, I was looking for my I-phone and he said “what’s that in your hand?” LOL!
I sure do miss that man! I have called my phone from my landline so many times it’s unbelievable! If I’m sewing, it’s usually right next to me! Maybe you left it on the piano or organ at church! You’ll need to back track your movements. But going to “find my”
app on your computer or I-pad may be able to assist you with finding it! Good luck!
Neighbor asked if he could cut down the holly tree next to the property line. I agreed. He cut down the wisteria. It was getting ready to bloom. Last year it was loaded with beautiful yellow blossoms. I’m moving so I shouldn’t care but it turns out I do! 😠
Good luck, Mary.
Have a good week.
Take care everyone
Oh Mary! Your ongoing trials and tribulations must annoy the daylights out of you. I know they would me. I get pretty impatient with this getting old stuff.
Glad you are somewhat better today and hope you find your phone
Hi Mary, so happy to hear that you’re feeling a little better! I’m sorry to hear that you lost your phone! I think you said you have an iPhone, correct? If you search on your iPad you will find directions on how to find your iPhone – the “Find My” is on the phone by default. So, unless you deleted it, you have it! I used something similar when I lost my Android phone. I could not believe it, I had left my phone at a client’s home and when I went online from my computer and followed the directions that I found there it actually has a map and the phone location is circled! My phone was around 15 miles away but there it was on the map! I hope you find yours! Jan in MA
Take it ez Mary. I have decided today
that I need to give my hands a rest(boring) from handwork, sewing, yard work, phone, computer time. Too achey…will be back in touch soon. Dang.
Shirley from OR
Hi Mary, Get well Wishes for you. Watching GMA and a Caitlin Clark sighting! Allow the bones a little rest.
Mary, maybe your phone is in the car?? Have you even told your hubby you can’t fine your phone, and he says, well, why don’t you use that one in your hand? 😂😂😂😂
Joy – I am ashamed to say that yes, I, too, have had the phone in my hand! Haha! But not this time. I wonder if it slipped out of my pocket while on the wilderness trail yesterday. Ugh. It’s a terrible feeling knowing I am so dependent on my phone. Thank goodness I have my IPad that texts.
Glad you r feeling better! Hope your pain is gone!
Hank is so cute and he love is momma so much!
Boy it is cold this morning! We are so spoiled! If it had been 20 below for a week, we would have thought yesterdays 30 was summer! Haha
Mary be careful with your 75 yr old body, it’s the only one you have ….
I have a king size and two twins to bind……. ….. bleh
Next week I have to start dusting etc downstairs as the Michigan family is coming home for a visit during their spring break!! Yippee! Can hardly wait! I look forward to it sooo much and then, they come and whoosh the time they are here flies!
Have a good day!
Nice to hear that you are feeling better but continue to rest and don’t over do!
Mary, so sorry about your accident, but glad You’re feeling some better. Hope you continue to heal & so glad nothing is broken! Saturday I bought Bentley a new bed. To relieve stress he licks his bed a lot!! I’ve washed the previous one repeatedly & was at the point it looked terrible! Couldn’t get the stains out. This dog does not like change!! He’s finally napping in it for short periods of time. And don’t move it to a different place, he’ll stand & glare at me!!
Alice – ah, Bentley, I don’t like change either! Ha!
Mary, yes change is harder & harder as we get older! Bless Bentley’s 14 yr old heart, he’s at least trying! Right now he’s snoring softly in the new bed!!
Good to hear your on the mend. Take care.
Mary, you should be able to find it with the “Find my Phone “ app. I’ve lost mine in the pasture twice and at home. It’s like a gps to lead you to it
I know you can ring it from the app but not sure if it will work on silent. I’ve also lost mine between the drivers seat and the console several times.
Rosalie – I don’t have the app. Grrrr
Mary S..t happens! Hope you find your phone! Iowa is once again cold this morning 19 out. I guess we have a few more days of March. Hope you continue to feel better. Maybe a sewing day.
Rita – are you back in Iowa?
No still in Texas
It is a relief to hear you are feeling some better. Good. It is 36* this AM and that will be the high for the day. I agree, try calling yours from Rick’s, you might be able to hear it vibrate. Did you know you can’t text with a bandaid on your thumb?😹😹. Of course, the other fingers work! Rest today, Mary.😍
Mary, If I were you, I would ask Keeper to find my phone. This whole situation started with his being excited to see a new friend. Good luck and best wishes to Rick.
Janet – yup, Keeper has been a player in this dilemma – he just wanted to see Hank and I’m sorry I just didn’t let him out to do that.
Good morning Mary! I enjoy your blog very much. I do try to comment but 9 times out of 10 I get the message that I already said that and my comment is deleted. I’m less techy than you but please know there is one person out there that enjoys reading your blog and all that you post but if it sounds too much like someone elses’, its deleted!
Glad you are feeling a bit better.
I’d say you are the household where life is never dull. At least to us here it’s never the same thing every day. Glad to know you’ll wake up today not hurting too badly.
Mary you crack me up!😂 Glad you are feeling better! My BIL sent me the bracket for the NCAA tournament; no clue what I am doing. Sounds like a Dan job.☺️ Don’t overdo it today since you are feeling better.
Donna Jo – I’m going to print out a bracket, too – oh, you’ll think this is fun by the end! March Madness has been covered by every news program this morning. Too fun!
I’m not sure what to expect. Glad you are feeling better. Looking forward to the next card recipient.
Oh Mary, I understand about losing your phone. I seem to do it all the time. I always find it, but it takes a bit. Hope you are feeling better. We had snow flurries off and on yesterday. The sun would come out for a bit and then it would snow. At one point there was a dusting of snow, then the sign would melt it. Glad I could stay inside.
Isn’t there a way you can find your phone from another source? Not sure since I am techno dumb but there should be a way. Beats driving me nuts.
I have never tried a chiropractor but people swear by them so hope you find relief.
Baltimore is in full bloom but we might get flurries this week. Welcome to Baltimore weather. The apartment next door has a bedbug issue and so they have to spray our adjacent wall. I have to be out of my apartment for five hours. Oh and I have to have my cat out as well. Big Deal heaven YES. I can’t leave her in the apartment, I can’t have her in the carrier for five hours. So we are going to an empty apartment she and I four the time and they act it is a trip next door. I try to explain it isn’t an easy task but I definitely want sprayed so nothing moves into my apartment. Oh the joys of living in a retirement community.
Hi Mary, l hope you have found your phone by now! How is your back? I have had a stressful time with the new tablet, apps in different places etc. My son video editing me ranting about messenger being hidden in a drawer and other problems! Then l started about slates at school, long drop toilets and my childhood! It’s a laugh but embarrassing! Not easy coping with the modern! My rant over?. TAKE care everyone, best wishes from sandy
glad to hear you are feeling better. your phone will turn up when you least expect it. keep on keeping on. patti in florida
Ps get well soon
You do too much!
Take some time to smell the roses. Know you love being busy but good health is more important.
(But do appreciate what you do for your followers)
Mary, I am so glad you are feeling better. I was worried as when I fell it was 3 days later that I felt all the effects from my fall, like rotor cup damage and then shingles even though I had shingle shots previous.
Beautiful spring day. Hope you find your phone. Carolyn b Shenandoah Valley Va
That happens alot to me!!
Maybe our age🙃🙃😂😂
Catherine- ya think? Haha!
Glad that you are feeling better. Back issues can be debilitating. I have a monthly massage which I find helps me stay somewhat loose..
A friend gave me a pattern for a small fanny pack bag to keep my phone close. She fell and luckily a neighbor saw her to get her up. She wears her ohon everywhere now.
Continue to get better.
Can you use your iPad to find it? I hope so, if not email me your number and I’ll call you.
Mary, so glad you’re feeling a little better. I just love the blog about nothing. You couldn’t make some of this up. I know the phone will show up soon.
Judy – well, that’s the truth, isn’t it? You just can’t make this stuff up.
I do that too with my phone. Gary will offer to call it but it’s on silent. I usually find it someplace weird that I set it down while taking care of something else.
I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better.
If it is on vibrate you might still hear it at home if it is close. If you have an iPhone, I you find my phone.
Glad you’re better! Sorry about the phone, but it did make me giggle a little.
