I’ve never seen anyone work as hard as Sarah H. – she just about cleaned my barn single handedly. Her son Josh came and helped, too, but Sarah did the lion’s share. Tonight the barn is ready for winter – clean and with new bedding throughout.

It’s been a blustery day with wind from the southeast. I am totally and completely out of gas tonight. Tomorrow is Susannah’s birthday – I’ll tell you all about it in tomorrow night’s post.

Moe got Keeper’s spot??? WOW!! 🙂
Hi Mary! Sending cards is a wonderful idea! Last week you featured my sister, Pat Latty, on her 87th birthday. She wanted me to thank all the ladies, and one man, that sent her lovely cards and notes. So much encouragement also! She received over 75 cards! It was ironic that the first card she opened was from Baltimore, Maryland – she was born in Baltimore! The cards really were much appreciated, thanks to all of you!
I love Moe’s little cozy spot. Love the quilt..is it one of your patterns? And the cute little dog pillow makes just right!!! what a relief for you to have the barn winter ready!
You must be relieved to have your barn cleaned. Great help is hard to find but, you had two great helpers.
Enjoy your Sunday day of rest.
Just love looking at all the interesting things in your home.
Good to hear you have some help with the heavy chores.
Beautiful weather here in AZ.
Short & sweet but as always great to read a post from you Mary. Understandable after an exhausting day, hope you had a restful night & not too sore this morning. So glad you have wonderful helpers.
Your roses are beautiful. Looks like Gracie is intentionally posing for her picture 😉. Were they for a special occasion or maybe just to brighten the day? You deserve a bouquet every day for the Joy you bring to all of us 💞 thank you Mary!
Joy – Moe’s parents brought them to me – Moe is the black dog here for the weekend.
Such a sweet gesture of Moe’s parents 🌹flowers bring smiles and you shared them with all of us 😊. You bring smiles to all of us through the blog daily – a big THANK YOU Mary 💐
Beautiful roses Mary! Have a great rest of your weekend!
Oh I can’t wait for tomorrow’s blog about Susannah. I always love it when you talk about her. I have fond memories of her from whenever I would visit country threads. I remember when she lived in your house. She was just thrilled whenever she could head butt a body. Sweet little girl.
Your roses are beautiful; and of course, so is Gracie. Moe is equally adorable. I trust Hazel and Moe have had a great playtime/visit.
Thanks for the blog. 🥰
