Jewelry Tree
Before more jewelry is added

When my mom was at Concord Care Center, I made this jewelry tree wall quilt and residents loved putting a piece of their own jewelry on it. Now those women have passed on and I’m going to add some more of my own jewelry – especially those single earrings that have lost their mate. I’ll show you again.

Each of these patterns is $5.00 and a self addressed stamped envelope – I’ve been assured that each one will require only one stamp. Your money can be sent as cash or check only to Mary ETHERINGTON, 2345 Palm Ave, Garner, IA 50438.

Your order must be postmarked by November 10 so that I can get them out to you in plenty of time before my surgery.

And here’s that Christmas panel I just finished. I’m not sure it’s still available for purchase since I’ve had it awhile.

I’m going to enjoy the porch with my book for a little while and then I’ll get back to work. I interviewed a new cleaning lady today – hallelujah! Life is good!

I love the idea of vintage jewelry on a Christmas Tree wallhanging; these could be such treasures; brilliant! Your playhouse is so cute; the perfect potting shed, love it!

What happened to your cleaning lady?
It is cooling down here. The wind is in the northwest. In the 60s.
We are finished harvesting! And everything is all washed and cleaned up! Nice and shiny like new!
With the weather so beautiful it doesn’t seem like the 22nd of October!
    Have a good evening!

Love the patterns! Thank you for offering them. What size is the Christmas tree pattern? I love the idea of putting jewelry on it. It would be a great family gift for wedding shower with heirloom jewelry on it. Just love it!
Good luck with your new cleaning lady. Hopefully you will find someone before your surgery.
Michigan weather is great- right now lol
Enjoy your time on the porch Mary!

Good morning all. Did I miss something? A new cleaning lady? I LOVE ALL the Christmas small quilts . I’m enjoying the wonderful weather and sitting on the porch with a good book sounds great.

Yes, I saw Mary’s post when she told us her wonderful cleaning lady got a full time job.

Mary, I hope you will find the right helper vey soon! When I got a full time job, I stayed with a few of my people and cleaned their houses and did their laundry on Saturdays, but my children were grown up so I kinda put myself out there, but there is a shortage of cleaning people.

Did you hot glue the jewelry without pins to the tree? Love the idea! I have some of my mother’s jewelry in an old box. Great way to display them, thank you Mary!
