Vicki – I’m not sure if you can understand such stubbornness but now he doesn’t even want it connected. I give up. Old men drive me crazy!!!! And I live with one – I just have to do my own thing.

Mine drives me crazy too! If I could find where he put the shovel, I’d bury him in the back yard!

Pat – we need a private group where we can whine about our husbands !

Totally agree! I have one I wouldn’t trade for anything but that man surely tries my patience. We just need to make sure law enforcement can’t tap into it! Haha

I’m in! I am NOT a mind reader. Repeat, I am not a mind reader. If you don’t want the ice cream I buy, then tell me what you would like! But then if that is the biggest issue here, I count myself lucky…really. But I’m still not a mind reader! Kris

I discovered that our Internet provider offers Peacock for free. I’m not even a fan of basketball, and now I’m trying to rearrange my day to at least listen to the game! MLB, my first love after faith and family, opens Spring Training games today, and It Has Been A Long Off-Season.

May Caitlin keep on owning it!
Yesterday a new lady to the sewing group shared a quilt she was binding that was a Country Threads pattern. She didn’t remember the name of it but it had delectable mountains blocks and wasn’t in a book. It was a lovely quilt made with homespuns and a neutral background. Mary do you still have the pattern?

Connie in NV – yes, I think I can find it – I’ll post it with $5 price

We’ll be watching on Peacock here in Las Vegas!! We signed up last week for the record breaking game. I got my sister in DC to watch too. So exciting!

Ladies I have a mechanical engineer for a husband. As a quilter and a retired paraeducator when we try to solve a problem we both try to figure it out but neither of us say it the same way so we argue about it. So frustrating! Now I say I’ll make a suggestion but do what you want.
We both have to compromise. Sound familiar?
    Go Hawks!

oh, an early read. yeah. today my sewing machine quilt. dh was home so i asked him to look at it. he is usually really good at this stuff. (think electronic engineer) first thing he did was try to open the foot pedal (which kinda made sense, the lights were on, i could change stitches, but if i pressed the foot pedal nothing happened). well, after he checked everything he looked at me and said ‘broke.’ i said i will need you to bring one of my other machines down from upstairs. he came in the living room – i thought he was watching the moon landing – he was really sleeping. so i am machine-less now. but i have machines upstairs i can’t get to. frustration!!!! he will be gone to work by the time i wake up tomorrow. grrrrrr. can i join the ‘why are men so frustrating’ club? yet, i got to fix dinner and he got to eat it. argh… least the magic won the game tonite. good luck with caitlin. patti in florida

My husband is now deceased, but he absolutely DROVE ME CRAZY at times when he was alive!! Would NOT learn how to use the remote controls for TV and streaming services. Yet, when something went wrong, he would yell at me, like it was all my fault. UGH. And don’t get me started on all the UNFINISHED things he left for me to figure out after he passed!! GRRRR😡😡. I loved the man dearly, but he drove me crazy many days. One of my friends used to say, “Can’t live with them, but you can’t kill them!” So very true.
