It’s cold all over! 12-19-25

Oh, that wind is cold not matter what direction it comes from. All is snug in the barn however.

Love the smile poem! We definitely need thr reminder in this day and age!!

And Mortie’s antics are so cute – she has such an inquisitive little mind!

    Mary,
So glad you had a visit from the tree trimmers! Amazing what they can do with their equipment.
Mortie has a long stretch! Love her daily antics. Thanks for sharing her.
Love the shiny boots on the little girl in front of the beautiful Christmas tree. The Christmas quilts and decorations over the last few weeks have been outstanding. I’ve looked at them and then re-looked.
I will join the Dirty Dozen challenge. Heaven knows I have many projects that qualify!
This past Thursday my husband and I went to the nursing home my mom had lived at for their Christmas party. They had snacks and desserts and a Christmas tree raffle. There were about 20 trees and each was decorated and raffled off. My husband won a 4 foot tree decorated and donated by a local Mexican restaurant. There was a gift card on the tree for the restaurant and they have great food. We visited with my uncle who is 86 and living in the same nursing home. he went to the party with us and we had a fun time. I will send a photo to Mary with my favorite tree. There was a great variety of.
    Take care everyone! 🌻

I try to click on the ads each time I check the Blog. There is one on the right called Betterment. No matter
how careful I am, when I click the three little dots, it takes me to the site every time. Odd. Mortie is like a small child, into everything. She is so cute:) COLD wind again today here. The temps are all over the place. Today it was 18* at 7 AM. Tomorrow it will be a bit warmer and it will be in the 60’s on Christmas. I still have a little baking to do and ALL of the wrapping. Yikes, better get moving.

Diane, that Betterment ad does the same with me too. Glad I wasn’t the only one trying to figure out why clicking on those three dots kept taking me to their site rather than close the ad.

The wind was just gusting here today. It made it feel so much colder than the actual temperature. I’m way behind in my Christmas decorating this year. Still have some last minute cleaning to do before company comes for the holidays. My sister and I had a nice get together yesterday with some cousins. It was so much fun to visit and laugh. Exactly what the holidays should include. I came home to make some goodies for the church bake sale. I made some mini cranberry/orange loaves. They turned out good and looked festive.
Thanks, Mary, for offering the Wild Rice quilt pattern for sale. My order will be in the mail.
    Merry Christmas to everyone!

Almost feel guilty about our weather in Arizona, the “Valley of the Sun” cause we have been averaging 80° the last couple weeks. Makes it hard to identify with the cold so many fellow readers are experiencing.

Love the jogging instructions to keep on schedule! Are you giving Mortie sewing instructions? He seems dead set on reaching something he needs! Hahahaha!
Forecast for the Rochester, MN area is almost 40* and all the snow and ice we have on the ground is suppose to be gone, no white Christmas for us this year!
Safe travels to those traveling during these next busy couple of weeks. Happy Holidays to all!
