You’ll want this copy of AP&Q! JO AND KELLI MADE THE COVER QUILT! And it is wonderful! Connie and I both want to make it – we have so much reproduction fabric. Maybe Jo could be convinced to do a quilt along? Maybe starting on January 1, 2022? I always start a new quilt on New Years Day while I watch football – it’s like eating black eyed peas or soup on January 1 – you do it for good luck in the coming year.
I LOVE this quilt – I LOVE pink! Get your copy on the newsstand before they’re gone!
Jo and Kelli – I’m so proud of you both! I’m excited – can you tell?
I cant wait to get my copy in the mail. Jo did mention doing a sew along with all of her blog followers. I hope she does one, I love the quilt.
I was at Joanne’s today to buy a iron, they didn’t have the magazine in yet or they were all gone. I looked real good. I’ll look at the grocery store when I go next week.
My magazine came in the mail today. The quilt is beautiful. A sew along would be so much fun. A new quilt for the new year. This would be a good way to use some fabrics from my stash.
I read Jo’s blog and then my magazine came that day. I, too, loved the quilt. If you do a quilt along, I think I’ll need to jump in. What’s one more project begun!!! I have much repro fabric as well.
My copy came yesterday. It looks like something fun to make, for sure. Don’t think I need much arm twisting!
I got my magazine yesterday! I saw their quilt & thought of you, Mary! I just knew you’d loved the style & the colors! Me? I’ll have to pass on a QAL because I have way, way, way too many projects started & on my quilt bucket list. I’m trying hard not to add any more. But I’d love to see everyone’s projects if a QAL does happen next year.
My issue came yesterday, as well. It is a beautiful quilt! A quilt-along sounds fun.
My issue of the magazine came yesterday. It is a beautiful quilt with a clever method of construction with no Y seams!!! I would consider a sew along as well.. My two cover girls whose blogs I follow – first your beautiful quilt on the calendar and now Jo! Congratulations to you both!
I’m excited, too! No one deserves the honor more than Jo Kramer.
I read Jo’s blog too. What a great looking quilt. I love that it was made in reproduction fabrics, and I love the pink sashing.
The issue is a good one about tackling UFOS . Thanks to you and Connie getting all of us doing the DD. I do think social media is creating new UFOS for me. It is fun collecting new projects too. LOL
You and Connie have greater stashes than I could ever imagine having.
I would love to follow Jo’s blog— how do I ? A sew along is a fun idea.
Jo Kramer’s wonderful blog is joscountryjunction.com .
You will love to follow her !
Connie R – thanks for posting Jo’s info – guess I didn’t think of it -doesn’t everybody already follow Jo???? Haha!!
Congratulations to a deserving person to be featured on the cover with her quilt. Thanks for spreading the word of this recognition. Quilt a- longs sure keep sewers motivated just like seeing your readers creations you share. Everyone have a wonderful day!
I got my copy Tuesday! I love that quilt and was thrilled to see it was Jo and Kelly’s design! A sew-along would be fun!
I’m ALL in. You know I’m a great starter…
I love the idea of a New Year’s sew along. I’m gathering my fabric RIGHT NOW!
Connie
That is a beautiful quilt and I want to make it! I agree, Jo is a terrific lady. Love reading her blog too. Her daughter, Kalissa, has an etsy shop that sells lovely tees. I bought one and I’m looking forward to her getting more size selection in so I can buy more. Love reading your blog too Mary.
