Jordan’s Way, 8-27-22

This morning I’m heading to a LIVE fundraising event at Patriots For Pets in Clear Lake, IA. It is organized and handled by an organization called Jordan’s Way. I don’t have time to explain what they do (look them up online) but I’m anxious to see what it’s all about. My “Brownie” has to stay home, of course, and he will miss me. I’ll take pictures and report tonight.

I looked up Jordan’s Way what an awesome organization ! I’m not sure if you remember me I’m Malynda from Ohio, the Domestic Violence Prosecutor, a few weeks ago I helped a homeless woman who with her little boy, a cage with 11 cats, and a Bassett Hound Puppy who were sleeping on a bench in the park where I work. We worked to get her into the Shelter but they were unable to accommodate her pets. I took the 11 cats, some Kittens thank goodness and the puppy. I usually foster for Ohio Shorthair Rescue and take the older dogs. Wow ,the puppy was a lot! but I contacted the Bassett Rescue in Ohio and they helped me find him the perfect home. All animal rescues are wonderful and their director reminded me so much of our rescue Director. We have a low cost spay and neuter clinic and I know their Director She helped me find foster homes for the cats and kittens. A happy ending but not without a lot of people coming together to help humans and animals

Wow, that is above and beyond, Malynda. What a wonderful gift you have given that woman, her little boy, and all those little pets.
      Thank you.

Malynda – OH MY GOSH! What a story – I had forgotten your name but I can’t thank you enough for helping that poor woman. Lots of people would have just dumped those animals on the street leaving them to die a horrible death. Yes, Chris at Jordan’s Way was incredible today – he is a driven young man, isn’t he? All for shelter dogs!

I looked it up too and see such a hard working man dedicated to work animal shelters provide to save many lives. Humanitarians and the best example of human beings in my book of life. It’s just so sad we have to remedy the low life’s who do not value a living pet. Safe journey and you will be in your element Mary.

Yes! Thank you Malynda for helping this woman and her little boy and for finding homes for her pets. I hope she can get back on her feet soon. I’m sure it was hard for her to give up her animals but for the sake of everyone involved it was for the best. I’m going to look up Jordan’s Way! Jan in MA
