This morning we cut snake grass, sweet Annie and hydrangeas and made bouquets to take to the Country Living Fair in Columbus. The hydrangeas are really nice and after I display them through the fall season, I stick them into holes in my Christmas tree which is really very attractive. A large bouquet of hydrangeas will sell for $10.00, Sweet Annie will be $5.00 and snake grass will also be $5.00. Short bouquets of hydrangeas will sell for $5.00 while they last, not many of these.
More work this afternoon—–

I would definetly say you have a green thumb! Blessings, Barbara babscorbitt@gmail.com
How many heads are in your large bouquets?
I believe there are 6 flowers in the large bouquet.
Thanks for answering.
I cut some snake grass and put in a pitcher – it turned dark and droopy. Is there a trick to keeping looking nice? Thanks
Dry it upside down so that it retains its shape. It will turn brown like all other natural grasses.
Mary…I hope you did this in the morning…it was SO-SO hot here this afternoon!!
Hydrangeas and Baby’s breath were what one of my nieces used for her wedding bouquet.
Hope yours are a sell-out for you!!!
