I’m happy to introduce you to Connie’s sister, Diane, who recently entered a care facility after being hospitalized with pneumonia.

Hi everyone, my sister Diane has recently been in the hospital- and will continue her recovery at a nursing facility near her home. Mary offered to put her on your “card chain” and I know Diane would love hearing from you.
Fun facts about Diane-
Ted & Diane have lived on the family farm in Minnesota since they married. They raised 3 boys and 2 girls, along with 9 grand kids and numerous great grandkids. She took up scrapbooking a few years ago and has made numerous books for each of her family members. This is her love language and it shows in each book she creates.
Diane also loves to cook & bake. The coffee pot is always on for whoever might drop by!
Thanks Mary for including Diane in your latest card shower!!!

Diane is a lovely woman and I know she’ll enjoy getting cards and Connie will appreciate it, too. You guys are so good about writing notes to my card gals! Thanks in advance!

This is what happened here today – this little unit brushed all the rocks out of my ditch that the county has been throwing there for 6 months.

And now a bit of grass seed to help things along. Can I give the bill to the county?

Mary I am so impressed with you…..all you do to keep up around your place. That advice to gather rocks is a winner! Your ‘ditch’ looks great now. What a gal you are!!!!!
Mary,
We had a beautiful day here in south east Michigan. Rain tomorrow though. Scotch went home earlier this evening. His family had a wonderful vacation in Barcelona but were really happy to see Scotch. I will miss him but only have to go two doors down to see him any time I want! He was such a good dog while here. He also spent a lot of time on the floor right behind my sewing chair!
Lovely quilts today. I will send a card tomorrow to Diane. I love the card sending.
Take care! 🌻
I am so looking forward to the Sweet Sixteen games!! Good luck to your team and mine!! Lol.
Mary, go back to 3/23 to my reply to you about the books series I’m reading on vacation. I love how the author brings Beaufort. SC into the stories. I can alsmost smell the salt water and sweet breezes! Sweet tea is a MUST while reading it.
Love that half circle wall hanging. I immediately thought of a rainbow or aurora. Hmmm inspiration?
Going to be warm again today. I hope to get out for a walk but I have someone cleaning for me 1-3! Doubtful I get any sewing done. I have two days after today left to pack my suitcase and assemble handwork for a retreat in Branson, MO. Have to be in Council Bluffs 7:30 a.m. Sat. to meet up with the gal who is driving.
I just put my card to Diane in the mailbox. Hope she feels better soon.
