I like seeing all the happy faces. Those people have been through a lot, and our own country has been neglecting a lot of them. Thanks, Barbara, for giving them a bit of sunshine in their lives, and thanks to everyone that donated to the cause.

What a wonderful thing Barbara has done organizing the quilt giveaway 👏 it warms my heart to see the photos – quilters are a generous lot! I look forward to hearing more about when we can send donations of quilting supplies (I know it may be awhile!). Thank you Mary for sharing and for always giving us ways to reach out and encourage others! Love all the a Christmas quilts in the previous post – such fun to see how others decorate and the creativity in the quilts! I so look forward to this every morning! Blessings to you 🥰

Thank you Mary for the original post advising us of this project. Our small guild was able to send 21 quilts to help and what fun to see several of them in the video. God bless Barbara and the recipient of each quilt. May they feel the love that went into each thread placed in the cloth.

Barbara must be so proud. To have organized this giveaway in such a short time and collected so many beautiful quilts just shows what one person can accomplish . And, so many generous donations! Thanks for sharing .

wonderful give-away of the quilts. glad to see it happening. making people happy and also warm. such a great thing to do. these people will need help ongoing for quite some time.
today was my 36th wedding anniversary. hard to believe sometimes that mr. ed has put up with me for so many years. both my kids actually remembered. the highlight was my daughter (who doesn’t talk to me much) called and talked for over an hour, updating me on her life.
i did spend lots of time behind the sewing machine. told mr. ed that it’s strange that sitting in that chair doesn’t hurt my back nearly as badly as the kichen table chair or even my recliner. think i’m going to put a different chair in the kitchen.
hugs and blessings to all, patti in florida where it is warm again

I think the news video said 60 quilts. Isn’t Barbara’s lively grandson having the greatest time?
