One of my favorite booksRemember that quilt I tore when quilting – here it is with a dog patch over the tear! The kid receiving this can look for the brown dog! Ha!
Gotta get back to the basketball games!

Love looking at the pets and even the dirty paws on ones that must be coming into Mary’s house cause those four look like they are having a ball smelling those critters who come near their territory.
What an experience last night with lightening and thunder snow here. Our whole house lit up and many lost power after it but we didn’t. Sure scared me half to death as never expected nor ever seen it here. We got about 5” of heavy wet snow last night so this morning it was a photographer’s dream out my backyard with every tree branch covered in snow and ice. Even my clothesline looked pretty.

Love 💕 love love the pet parade! They are all so cute and not one alike! What a variety in kind, type, and color. Hazel still has my vote for the cutest!

Hi Mary, the girls really enjoyed looking at the pets! Luna thought Keeper was a horse! Is the chap using a quilting machine? It was hard to see the cat in the picture! W3 hav3 been making 🧚♂️ fairies as Stella is mad on them at present, sequins are on the carpet everywhere! Enjoy your basket ball games, take care everyone, best wishes from Sandy

This is what could be a 5th season: MUD! Such big ponds in the fields with the ground mostly frozen yet, and ice jams on the rivers & creeks. The pets and the colorful quilts brighten my day.

The multi colored quilt on the bed that has the navy bandana style pillow has given me some ideas for how to use the fabrics I inherited from my Mom. She liked color ways different from what I typically use, so I have been trying to decide on a pattern that would use her fabrics. This is a great example and the triangle squares will let me use up a considerable amount of her fabric. Thanks for the picture and idea! (By the way, I got the fabric from Mom in 2008. That shows you how long I keep fabric, waiting for the right idea(s).) Every once in a while, I have donated fabric to the local junior high and high school home ec departments for students who are learning to sew and need fabric to use. So, I don’t keep ALL the fabric forever, just most of it. Laugh!
