Happy Mothers Day! This morning in church the Sunday School kids presented their memory work for the congregation. Every pew in our church was full as well as the overflow room.

Look at all these kids! Our church is so lucky!

Train up a child the way he should go, and he will not depart from it. That is what your church is doing! Wonderful!
Loved all the pictures!
Hot and windy! Hopefully rain on Thursday!!
I loved your Sunday School pictures; you are really fortunate to have so many children attending your church.
Michelle’s cupcakes are beautiful.
Thanks, Mary 🥰
Mary, The cupcakes look delicious. Are they part of the 15 dozen cupcakes that Hank’s mom made? It is great to see all the young children and families in the church. Joy, your quilt is really nice. The two cats are so sweet looking. It has been warm the past couple of days. The trees and bushes are finally leafing out, and most of the orchards around us are in bloom. Spring is finally happening. Janice Traverse City area
I always love it when you post pictures of your church. Beautiful group of people, old and young.
My granddaughter has introduced her cat to Buster. They’re getting along pretty good.
My daughter and I went out to dinner with two of her daughters. Good to see them.
I’m enjoying this warm weather.
Carolyn – I’m always shocked to realize I’m now part of the old group in church. Haha!! Great that they’re getting along – introducing a new animal to a household can be hard sometimes – just look at FluffyBun who still isn’t part of the core family.
Beautiful the children attending church..💒
What a great church congregation you have, Mary! They are blessed to have your beautiful piano music.
Mary, I believe this is the first picture of your whole church I’ve seen. What a beautiful building.
I’m sure the services are just as wonderful in that space.
Thanks for all the wonderful pictures.
It’s going to be a bit warm, bordering hot today. Too hot for early May!!!
Our church in Charles City also has lots of children who participate in choir and the children’s sermon. My grandpa, who was a minister, always said lots of children in a church is a sign of a healthy church. It means that young couples are taking church seriously and want to make sure their children grow up knowing this.
Great graduation quilt.
Gloria – I also think kids want to attend the church their friends go to so our church has many young families. Our pastor, Brian Lund, is also very popular with the young crowd. I do believe our church is the envy of many churches in the area.
Your church and community are truly blessed to have so many children in church. This is a reflection on Christian parents making this a priority. Count your blessings. I have said for years that kids would benefit more sitting on a church pew than on a sports bench. I see and hear of children’s sports on Sunday mornings.
Thanks for posting my flag quilt. I made 2 of them and gave the other to my daughter. Using Ten Sisters fusible grid, it pieced quickly and precisely. It is fun to use.
Wonderful to have a church full of children and their families.
What a beautiful graduation quilt, something to be cherished.
Love the flag quilt. Need to make one. So simple but the meaning of the flag is what it’s all about.
Are the kitties siblings? So cute!
Mary did you have one of the yummy cupcakes?
Mother’s Day was low key and talked to both of my daughters on the phone.
I love to see a church full of kids! Precious!
Mary, the Sunday School students did a great job! They were so well prepared. Wonderful to see all the children you have at church and their teachers.
A young man got a great black and white quilt for graduation. And the cupcakes look delicious!!
