Such a gorgeous day! The southerly wind rustles the dry corn stalks with just a soft whisper. It’s beautiful!

You asked about the silicone pad for my stove top. Amazon first mailed me a black one and then a taupe one and I’ll be keeping them both because returning something is just too much of a hassle. I ordered “thick” pads but I would not call either one thick. They will protect the glass top however from scratches when not in use so that’s what I was looking for. Tonight when I took a pan from the oven, I stopped myself before I put it on the pad – but I looked it up and it’s heat resistant to 450 degrees so yes, you can put a hot cookie sheet on it.

Morty in the chair with quilt

Quilt name is Hidden In Plain Sight, found in Beyond the Battlefield.

I’ve never seen such morning glories!

Today was piano tuning day at church and here at my house – this afternoon was Women’s Fellowship. Tonight was a bath for Hazel – who wants to sleep with “snake breath”? Haha!!!

Your morning glories are indeed glorious! In the stack of quilts with Morty on top ❤️, there is a bright quilt with blue binding in the middle of the stack that looks so fun. I would love to see a whole picture of it if you get the chance. It looks like just squares, maybe 2 or 3 inch, and four patches, but the colors are so cheerful. What a tempting peek you gave us! I hope you’re feeling better. That bounce-back factor sure disappears as we age.

Morty looks great on that quilt! He’s such a cutie! LOVE that pieced pumpkin reader quilt. Would love to know what the pattern name is if someone could post it.

How do you like the new stove. How is the air fryer in it. You really got my interest in an air fryer. Heard good things about air fryers but I didn’t want to buy something like that to hang out on my counter top but in an oven sounds like a great option. Didn’t know they did that until I saw yours.

Dee – I am totally unfamiliar with it but I just today bought French Fries to give it a try – haha! It might be better for me if the FF weren’t any good – haha! I also bought chicken strips and egg rolls – neither are very good in my oven so I’m hoping this is the answer. I agree – no more appliances on my counter!

What great quilt pictures today. Funny my ads are all about renovating. I especially like the picture of the cat and dog sleeping together. How sweet is that. The drywalling company is coming today to get a look at the garage, we are finishing it to be a bedroom /sitting room for our son and his partner until they can put a manufactured home on the property. Then we will convert it to a part fitness room part storage for my husbands tools. Thank you for the blog. It brings joy to my life and I looks forward to reading every post.

Thanks, Mary, for finding the pattern for Morty’s quilt. I appreciate you taking the time to do that. Morty is a beautiful cat. Looks like he and you hit the jackpot when he showed up at your door. Have a great weekend. Becky.
