I’ve had a busy day with some stress involved so I’m sorry to say I didn’t get the Grandmothers Flower Garden post written. Sigh. On top of that I have watched too many basketball games to concentrate on writing directions – bear with me. Such great games today – my addiction is showing! Iowa State beat #1Houston! NC State beat North Carolina! Oh, March Madness is brewing!!
I was able to meet Hank today – cuteness overload! I’m in love!!

Until tomorrow!

Sunflower, your runner is adorable and fluffy chickens are icing on the cake.
Hank the tank! If he grows into those feet, Michelle will have her hands full!
Oh that Hank is the cutest puppy (I won’t call him little!)
I love the chickens, the table runner, and the Easter eggs.
My husband and I are suffering from allergies right now. It seems worse this year. We have many plants and trees blooming as well as having lots of recent rains. Even the pecan and mesquite trees are budding out and they’re usually the sign that there will be no more freezes.
We’ll be back up in Iowa the week before Easter. We’ll meet with the electrician, plumber, HVAC, septic, and painter. Lots to do and many things to get lined up on the house. We’ve been doing a lot of looking and planning from here. The list is long but it’s kind of fun to think of what we really want.
Hank is a special dog, what eyes, full of expression. He is going to outgrow being picked up soon. What big paws he has. I’m so glad you got to meet him and hug him for all of us. Lovely table runner and those eggs are super cute. I used modge podge years ago, but I’m tempted to give this a try. What fun. Need to get a few cards in the mail today, and finish watching some golf that we taped. I tend to clean, dust and mop when the hubby is watching. Tells you how much I enjoy golf, lol.
I would not be too concerned abt a basketball addiction, Mary; there are much worse ones. You love it, so enjoy!
I am so glad you met darling little Hank, what a sweet puppy. My first grandbaby was a Golden puppy. 😂
The Lund’s table looks quite festive and ready for Easter; that runner is fabulous!
Thanks, Mary 🥰
Hank is totally darling…those eyes…and paws…hope to keep seeing pictures of him as he grows! I just gave a cat now…which is a good companion, but I do miss having a dog.
Mary,
Oh that Hank is adorable! And his paws!!
To Brenda in Georgia, get a new lip balm (chapstick) and rub some between your thumb and index finger and once it’s soft, rub it on your nose where it’s sore. It may help.
I’m excited for the basketball tournaments! 🏀 🏀
We are also addicted to basketball. High school girls’ tourney plus Big 10. H igh school boys state finals start this week. Between games we check National Graphic TV to see if Dr. Pol is on.
Such a cute puppy. Love the eggs and table runner together.
Love all the photos! Sorry for your trauma. Hank is precious but he does have a sad look on his face, which I am sure is just how his face is and not that he is unhappy. My allergies have acted up more than ever and runny nose has caused a sore under my nose that won’t seem to heal. Found out that application of Vaseline gave me a bad reaction and have had to search for a product without petroleum in it. Hard to find. Can’t read the small print. These seemingly small things can drive you crazy.
Hi, I’m Hank’s mom. Those pics make him look sad, but trust me the smiles come out when he’s playing. I’ll try to get a happy-normal photo to Mary in the near future. He’s a big boy already. 8 weeks and 18 lbs. His full brother, was our Beamer and he was also a large framed dog. We like them big around here. Gentle giants. After Day 2 he is adorable, and actually fairly chill for a puppy, but that could change in the near future. He’s had no accidents in the house, eats like a champ and no complaining at night.
Hank’s Mom – he sounds like the ideal puppy to me!
Love the tablerunner and egg arrangement. Spring is on its way🌷☘️
Hank is going to be big. Look at those paws💕
Hank looks like a real sweetie! Puppy snuggles are just the best!! Glad you got to meet him! He looks like he may end up being a big guy!!
Awww, I love Hank too and want to snuggle him. Cuteness overload.
Congratulations to Iowa winning yet again.
The egg technique is perfect for kids.
Take it easy Mary. I think you need a leisurely walk on the wilderness trail.

To top it off we have high school basketball tournaments going on right now. So basketball overload is an understatement, haha.
Hank is very cute but how do you tell he is happy?
Love Sunflowers egg runner. So colorful for springtime.
I’d be running over to hug Hank too if I close by. He will gets lots of love and attention.
Hank is a hunk!!!
Hank is so cute! It’s going to be hard not to spoil him. Your table runner and eggs are so springy! Mary, you aren’t getting Dan and me hooked on men’s basketball too! ☺️ I don’t care what you post! Ha!
Donna Jo – haha! No Caitlin involved so not to worry! Men’s basketball doesn’t hold a candle to the women – IMO!
That Hank is so cute it makes me want a big dog again. (Not happening!) He seems so calm for a puppy. So many wouldn’t let you hold him like that and remain calm. We had two goldens over the years and adored them both. Neither lived past 10 which was a great sadness to us.
Caitlin was the talk, last night, at a friends house. They are big basketball fans. My husband who is not, even got in the conversation! Hank is adorable.
Laura – wow, in your part of the world Caitlin is still the topic of conversation? I can’t wait for March Madness to start – I will be devastated I’d they get beat out early.
Hank is adorable!!
Hi Mary, nothing like snuggling up to a puppy!Hank is precious, hope he has a long and healthy life! The chickens 🐔 are so fluffed up.The wedding quilt is pinned and first row of 9 patches quilted l am happy to report. The Easter eggs look interesting, how are they made? Off to have some apple and blackberry crumble with ice-cream now! Take care everyone, best wishes from Sandy
Hank is a sweetie! And so are the kiddos too!
I think you’re allowed an addiction. I enjoy the ladies basketball much more than the men’s. Hank is a charmer. Allergy season is really knocking me out. I’ve never had a reaction like this before to pollen. Constantly sneezing and blowing my nose. TMI for sure. It was beautiful today here in Md. but tomorrow we’ll have rain and next week cooler temps. Enjoy the BB.
Patricia – Margaret has had much trouble this season, too, so you’re not alone. She has asthma as well and any type of allergy turns into bronchitis – she says her mom was the same. I don’t envy either of you.
Who wouldn’t be in love with Hank after seeing his adorable pictures!
Iowa State Rocks! And what a cutie Hank is. So wonderful to see them at that stage, so huggable. Bracket selection tomorrow. Stories in local newspaper about how Women’s NCAA tournament is a bigger deal than men’s tournament this year because of Caitlin and all the excitement she has brought to the game. I’ll be watching right along with you.

I am in love with Hank. What a beautiful pup. Look at the size of those paws.
Beautiful spring day at 64 degrees and sunny.
