Weather Comin’ Thru, 3-12-26

Sooooo windy and it rained for several hours – when I walked the dogs I didn’t check the rain gauge but we have puddles. We’re under a wind advisory and winter storm watch. How about you?

Nancy and Kathy came to sew tonight – I the ink they got more accomplished than me – too busy with 4 dogs and one little cat.

Can’t find my pictures and I’m too tired to look. Talk tomorrow.

We supposedly have a winter storm watch but …..

Who knows anymore with all the weathermen hype!

I did finally look for the baked bean recipe with pineapple and emailed it to Mary. It is a large recipe it is so yummy!

    Have a good weekend!

I give you credit that you can sew at night. By then my feet ache and my shoulders are so sore that the idea of moving fabric around tells me it’s time to sit down and rest. When I’m tired like that, I make mistakes that have to be correct the next day. Wish I could as there was a time when I was younger I could stay up and sew for hours after kids went to bed.
Thanks for the blog as I like hearing how everyone is doing. We’re under a wind advisory.

We’re having a blizzard on the North Shore of Lake Superior, but not as bad as the last one, thankfully. I hope all that water at your place doesn’t turn to ice. That’s so treacherous. Good luck!

Candy – I’d be the last one to know – but I thank you because it helps pay all the blog expenses!

Thinking of you with blizzard warning. Please stay safe. We’re under a wind advisory, but the sun is shining now. We know we are in for winter weather coming soon.

We had our stormy weather Tuesday night. We got a lot of marble-sized hail. Fortunately no damage but lots of little limbs on the ground to clean up the next day. Today we are under a fire watch because of high winds but I think this is for the western half of the state.

We had wet snow yesterday for a couple of hours. No accumulation on the roads because it was 88 on Wednesday and they were too warm! Unbelievable! The snow accumulated a little on grassy areas, but quickly disappeared. Typical March in VA, spring wants to come, but it’s not quite time yet. Temps will be up and down for the next week or so. Spring will get here. Always does.
Everyone here, take care. I love this blog and love being part of what you’re created Mary!

Woke up to at least 10 inches of new snow and still coming down heavy. The robins that came early made a big mistake. We’re predicted to get another big storm over the weekend. Just when it started to look like Spring.
I’m working on a quilt with homespun squares. Looks like it’ll be a good day to sew.

We had sun but cool temps today. It will be in the low 40’s and windy on Friday.
Thanks for this blog. Take Care, 🥰

The bad weather will hit us on Saturday night and into Sunday. Our county is expecting 8 to 12 inches and sleet. It was fairly calm here today and a high of 45. Not much sewing going on here, so glad you had some company to enjoy.
