   Just saw this quilt from Pinterest. I love it, and can’t wait to try it! As soon as I finish baby quilt (friends had twin girls!), and a Halloween table runner, this one will be next! Isn’t it funny how we create “To Do” lists for our quilting hobby? Your blog looks great. I look forward to looking around it for other gems like this one. Thanks for posting it!

   Great quilt/fabric stash ideas! I sewed the regular nine patch then cut right up the middle…sew it back together again. Add Small border and cornerstone…all from stash of fat quarters.sorry.dont know how to post photos. Not heavy on the quilt in.

   Beautiful here in deep east Texas a mild 78*. Flowers and sunshine aplenty.
   (But summer is coming and it gets really hot and very humid) so we enjoy spring to the fullest.

       Carol – there’s no quilt police out there – just make up your own.

    Oh, good something to inspire me. I just ordered some Olfa Blades, was running low. Can gather charms n cut some scraps for this. Always fun to play with fabrics. Are you giving your pretty finished quilt away, Mary?

    Oh my gosh, a Salem ruler! I used a Salem for decades, and lost it in a move. I still miss it. Clear to read and 8 inches wide. A true antique and worthy of great care.

       Kathy – connie uses Omnigrid and hates Salem rulers. It’s my favorite and when we were planning to close the shop, I confiscated all the Salem rulers – hahaha!

    I love this design and will probably have to “steal” it. I am trying so hard to use up a lot of my stash and with so many “different” fabrics this would be a great way to incorporate a lot of them. Now just have to find the time.

    Making a quilt with this disappearing four patch pattern out of ’30’s prints. Have finished 20 blocks with 44 more to go. Doing 8 across and 8 down. Really fun to put together.

    I just finished making a disappearing nine like that, but added a HST to two of the corner pieces after everything else was sewn back together. Love the disappearing 4P, 9P and pinwheel!!
