Enjoy!

Aren’t these some of the most beautiful trees you’ve ever seen?

Please – please – please – if I missed posting your tree let me know! You might have to resend the picture.
I will continue to post Christmas tree pictures as they arrive.
Thanks to everyone who sent me a picture – which just proves to me that you really do understand how to do it and now there’s no excuse for not sending your quilt photos!

Hi Mary – I’m so loving the tree pictures- I really want to send one of mine, but I haven’t decorated it yet. All the decorations are out, but I just can’t get motivated to decorate. The weather here has been so gray and gloomy. So I’m really enjoying the pictures.
Jackie – well, just know that we all want to see your tree so when you do get it decorated, I’d love to have a picture. If it’s any comfort, all I have managed is a 3’ prelit tree – it just seems like too much effort for me, too.
Thanks for the encouragement Mary! The tree photos motivated me to put up the other decorations, but Hubby says no tree decorations until our granddaughter can help. She loved putting the decorations on the tree then taking them back off last year! One morning she woke up and asked to “play” with the Christmas tree 🤣🤣🤣❤️
Thank you Mary and everyone for sending your beautiful Christmas pics! You have inspired me. I’m pulling out my “stuff”, today.
Oh my goodness, all the tree pictures are beautiful! So creative. Thanks to all who sent in yourChristmas inspiration!
Thanks everyone for sharing your trees. And Mary for forwarding them on for all of us. So much creativity and beautiful homes to showcase them.
Beautiful trees and beautiful homes!!🥰
As always, I love the photos and your farm stories! Those trees are great!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos of people’s trees. They have put so much work into them
as well as the quilts! And thanks to your work for posting them.
I love seeing all the beautiful trees!
The trees are all so nice. I found the flat one on the aqua wall eye catching. We will get our tree up this year, just not yet.
What a great idea the tree photos has turned into! I loved the variety of trees and the quilts used as decorations.
Susan K in Texas, that’s a beautiful tree skirt. Would it be possible to have a photo of it? When I enlarge the current tree photo, the skirt blurs. I love needlepoint and it looks like it is hand made. Thanks!
The reindeer quilt is precious! Thanks, Mary 🎄
Thanks! It’s a cross stitch tree skirt I made back in 1992. There are ornaments to match. Back that long ago I always had a cross stitch project. Now I struggle with focusing on the chart and then the fabric so just do embroidery.
I will send a picture of the tree skirt to Mary.
The pictures of the trees are all so lovely! I loved seeing the quilts and wall hangings and tree skirts too. So much talent in your group of readers. Thanks to all for sharing and to Mary for posting them.
I love this! Thank you, Mary. It is so much fun to see each tree and quilt:)
Love seeing all of these trees, covered with memories….sort of like scrappy quilts! I also appreciate seeing the settings, vintage or modern, complete with critters. Thanks to all for taking the time to share.
Colleen – that’s my friend Gloria- I’ll shoot her a message to leave a comment with the answer.
To clean vintage cloth Santa’s I take a warm damp cloth with a small amount of Orvus soap and gently wipe (in a circular motion) over the entire Santa. I follow this with a clean damp towel to remove any soap. Let air dry. Use your fingers to brush the nap down. Do not put in a washing machine.
Thank you so much Gloria! I appreciate you taking the time and trouble to respond to my question. It was very kind of you. Merry Christmas!
See Mary, this blog isn’t about nothing. It serves all sorts of purposes!
Gloria – thank you!!!
Beautiful pictures today. Love it!!
Oh my, such wonderful eye candy today. Loved the trees and that moose quilt is adorable. I don’t have a tree up yet and believe me it does not compare to those lovely trees! and the one made from wood is ingenious! It’s a foggy morn again and we have snow and I doubt we have a white Christmas. Prediction is warmer than usual and continued dry. The good part is I have been getting out for a walk every day.
Oh what a wonderful display of trees and quilts!
Beautiful trees! I haven’t gotten mine up yet! Love the Reindeer quilt!
Love the trees but the quilts w/ the trees are so inspiring. Love to see decorating with quilts. These were very inspiring.
So much fun to see all the beautiful trees! And such a wonderful variety of ideas in decorating them! Always great to see how creative people can be. Thanks for posting all these great pictures.
Beautiful trees!!!!! Makes me really get into the Christmas spirit! The reindeer quilt is SO cute!!!!
So many lovely Christmas trees. The flat tree on the wall was a first time for me to see. Great, happy reindeer quilt. I admired tree skirts, wall hangings, button tree decorations, etc. Very festive, everyone. Mary, thanks for doing this.
Thanks for all the tree pictures! I loved getting a peek into other quilters’ homes, from the palm trees to the snow!
Beautiful beautiful Christmas trees. Thank you for sharing.
OMGoodness! The only trees are BEAUTIFUL! A feast for the eyes. Thank you to everyone who shared. The reindeer quilt is WONDERFUL! Mary you really do have some of the best ideas!🎄
Wow! Gorgeous!
Beautiful trees, I especially love the button trees. I have my mom’s button box; I wish I knew the history of all those buttons. That reindeer quilt is excellent.
Thanks, Mary, for doing this and so much more. 🥰🎄
Hi Mary, wonderful trees, beautiful decorations and rooms! I love the stack of suitcases with the sewing machine case on top. Off to have my eyes tested tomorrow and get some stocking staffers for the girls, take care everyone, best wishes from Sandy
Great pictures and inspiring! I always am so slow in putting our tree up. I love the flat tree on the wall. You could keep up year round and decorate for all the holidays and all sorts of other occasions as well!
Thanks for the beautiful Christmas tree photos. They are helping me get inspired and stop dragging my feet to decorate. We are down to a tiny, tabletop tree now, but we love it, so I need to get it out of storage. I have other things too that need to be placed around, like Christmas table toppers I have made and a wood-carved Santa. It does seem to come around faster and faster.
I am making my first Christmas quilt too and sure hope I can get it done by the 25th. Tonights quilts are wonderful.
Enjoyed all the Christmas trees . thanks for sharing . Great idea Mary. warm yesterday and today 65 degrees here in the Shenandoah Valley Va.

To the person that made the quilt with the reindeer heads and half/square triangle alternate blocks, would you mind sharing the name of the pattern? Love seeing all the trees and decorated rooms.
I’m not the maker of that wonderful reindeer quilt, but I found it using Google’s image search. It’s a pattern called “Reindeer Xing” by Lella Boutique. Patterns and kits are sold by several websites. Here’s a link to Lella Boutique’s website:

Wow! So much fun to see such a wonderful array of Christmas trees.
So many interesting and beautiful trees & quilts! Thanks for sharing all these great photos!
Such creative trees and a fantastic reindeer quilt toward the end, I also loved seeing the pictures made from the white buttons. One was sitting on the dresser with the tree and the other was hanging on the wall.
Thank you, Mary and readers, for all the inspiration! Have a good week!
Love seeing all of the Christmas trees.❤️🎄❤️ Thank you Mary for a wonderful idea and taking the time to share all the photos. You are the best. ❤️🪡🧵❤️
Such great tree photos!!! Loved the quilts is some of the photos too…
My tree isn’t up yet, but I have started decorating. I usually wait a little bit because we leave everything up at our house until after Martin Luther King Day which is when my extended family comes to spend the weekend and have our gift exchange. But – we’ll get there!!!
I hung my Snowman quilt today – will send a photo of that!
Love seeing everyone’s trees!!!🎄🎄❤️ Thank you Mary for the idea and taking the time to post all of the photos. You are the best!!! ❤️🪡🧵❤️
I love all the pictures of beautiful Christmas trees!! Hugs,
