Report, 3-5-26

Just a quick note to say my shoulders and arms ached terribly this morning BUT by tonight they’re much better.

Great reader quilts today:

Bonnie says she did all this embroidery on her machine. Pattern is by Bird Brain Designs.

That’s all, Folks!

So glad you got some improvement – I certainly hope that continues (as do you, I’m sure!).
    Great photos – thank you!

Wonderful quilt show. Mary it’s good that the treatments seem to be working. Very nice to get relief. I’m working on my DD #6 for March. Just a bit each day but hope I can get the top done this weekend, then layer and quilt it. It’s a smaller baby quilt about 40 x 45. We shall see. We’ve got rains again after a surprise nice day yesterday. They called for rain all day and it didn’t.
    Have a wonderful day everyone.

Really hope you’re getting relief from this therapy on your shoulders, Mary. Many years ago I was in a car accident, hit from behind & suffered muscle damage. I had sessions once a week with some type of unit, maybe a tens unit? It felt like tiny pin pricks that increased then leveled down to less severe. It was a miracle worker! Maybe what you’re receiving is a new form of what I received over 25 yrs ago. I’m praying this therapy works wonders for you, Mary! Back from FL a week ago to much warmer weather than FL had! We are under a flood watch as we’ve had so much rain with more predicted. I made a trip to OSU yesterday for a dental appt & many farm fields looked like lakes! Our temps are unseasonably warm, but we know we will have a few more cold spells before it stays warm. I have daffodils & tulips coming up. Now the challenge is to keep the deer from eating them!!

Alice – yes, you have described it and I’m encouraged that you had good results. So Boots is home? Was he thrilled to see you? We are finally getting rain that we so badly need – sounds like you have more than you needed.

Yes, Boots was happy to see us, but was very moppy for a couple of days as he missed his buddy Preston! He’s back to his happy self now. Getting ready to take Boots for a nice long walk. He loves his walks!

So glad to hear you are having less pain tonight. I hope the radio frequency therapy will help.
The readers’ quilts are wonderful; I especial like the sampler.
I hope you don’t have bad weather this weekend. I am keeping an eye on the predictions. as I don’t like tornado warnings at night.
    Take Care

Sounds like the latest treatment might bring the relief you need. I hope so.

Jo – I see puddles this morning and I hope you will, too. I hope it rains here all day!

This is a Kansas Troubles pattern “Trail to Kansas – A Quilter’s Journal.” The pattern shows a third wide border which I am probably not going to add.

Gloria, love your Kansas Troubles sampler quilt! Beautiful quilt! I’m thinking I like it just the way you have it displayed. Not sure I would put another wide border on it either. Very nice job!
