It was such a beautiful day for Pumpkin Day and we want to thank you for coming. Many other fall events were taking place yesterday, too.
Next week it’s on to Gypsy Wife and Rug Along preparations.

What a great pix of you and Connie! Love it. So glad you had good weather. Did you pretty much sell out?

Mary and Connie — That is an AWESOME photo of the two of you. T.H.E. Best! Of all the photos you used in your books over the years this is really, really … awesome! I’m glad you both have been able to step away from a thriving business and enjoy some time doing what you want (well, sorta)! Heaven knows I have enough of your patterns and books to keep me busy for three more lifetimes!!!!! Your last book is still my favorite … I want to make everything in it. Again, awesome photo, ladies!!

These past few emails have sure made me wish I still lived in Iowa, I would have walked away from your sale with an armful of quilts, some starter plants & a lot of your wonderful advice. I’m semi new to your blog, do you sell any quilts or starter plants on line?

So glad you piosted a picture of yourselves! You two gals were some of my major quilty inspiration back when I began quilting in the early 90’s! Fantastic to see the 2 of you still standing side-by-side!
Am tempted to try Gypsy Wife, using up old stash — it seems wonderful in today’s fabrics — wonder what it would look like in some of my old 90’s VIP and Cranston little ditsy calicoes? Might just “fade away” ….
There’s also Christmas stash I’d like to use up …

Mary, Mary, Mary…I was thinking of you today, at the Country Living Fair in Columbus…as you had recommended the Mrs. Parolee’s cobbler….so I broke my diet and had a hunk of cherry, just for you. You’re welcome!
Sent you my check for the rug book and dvd so I may be ready when everyone else is…for a change!

Looks like a good time was planned by all in the morning line-up.
A football day here, but my youngest granddaughter came to do some work for me. A good way to earn spending money. We enjoyed lunch with her, too.

Those folded quilts look yummy delicious. Wish I could have been there to purchase..I am off to my quilt retreat tomorrow and my 16 patches are my projects. We hope to include a trip to
Quilted Strait.
